Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked macaroni
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper and paprika to taste
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in 2 cups boiling water.
    Boil 7 to 9 minutes; drain.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add flour; mix well.
    Stir in milk and cheese gradually, stirring well after each addition.
    Add salt and pepper; mix well.
    Cook over low heat until sauce thickens, stirring constantly.
    Pour macaroni into sauce, stirring to cool.
    Pour into lightly greased 8 x 10-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes until golden brown.
    Can also be topped with buttered bread crumbs.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
