Basic Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes or 8 qt. juice
    1 bunch celery, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 hot peppers, finely chopped
    4 sweet peppers, chopped
    8 medium onions, chopped
    1 medium bunch parsley, chopped
    3 bay leaves
    1 c. sugar
    salt to taste (4 tsp. salt)
Preparation
    Boil juice or tomatoes down until thick.
    Add all other ingredients and cook until thick again.
    Take up and seal in jars. Great for spaghetti, chili or lasagna sauce.
