Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. medium potatoes, peeled (9)
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. packaged bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender; drain.
    Combine potatoes, sour cream, butter, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Beat on low until light and fluffy.
    Pile lightly into a buttered 2-quart casserole.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake covered at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Toss bread crumbs in 1 tablespoon butter. Sprinkle over potatoes.
    Continue baking uncovered for 30 minutes more.
