Saltine Cracker Crunch Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 stick butter or 1/2 c. butter
    2/3 c. peanut butter (crunchy or plain)
    1 c. coconut
    24 crackers, crumbled (but not too fine)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, milk and butter in saucepan.
    Bring to full boil, stirring constantly.
    Let boil 4 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter, coconut, crackers and vanilla.
    Stir well until mixed good.
    Pour into buttered pan and chill.
    Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
