Doris' Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 lb. American spaghetti
    1 c. (6 to 8 oz.) tomato paste or tomato sauce
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 large onion
    3 garlic buds
    salt and pepper
    shortening
    1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
Preparation
    Brown onion and
    garlic
    in
    fat.
    Push
    to side.
    Sear meat, add tomato paste
    plus
    3
    or
    4 cans of water (to cover meat). Add salt
    and
    pepper.
    Cook until tender.\tAfter meat is half cooked, add American Beauty spaghetti sauce mix.
    Cook spaghetti in salted
    water.
    Drain spaghetti.
    Sauce should be fairly thick. Pour sauce over spaghetti and toss.
