Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples, quartered
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook apples in all ingredients until tender and about 1/2 of water has boiled away.
    Pour syrupy apples in baking dish; bake, uncovered, in oven for 2 hours at 350\u00b0.
