Cream Of Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced celery
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped mushrooms
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. cream
    1 tsp. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    black pepper
Preparation
    Cook celery in salted water until tender.
    Melt butter in saucepan; add mushrooms and simmer 5 minutes.
    Add onion to this mixture.
    Add the flour and blend, then the milk and cream; simmer until it has thickened.
    Add cooked celery mix and season with pepper and more salt, if desired.
    Heat and serve.
    A dash of whipped cream may be added.
