Cherry Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    3 3/4 c. plain flour, sifted
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. milk and juice from cherries to make 1 c.
    1/2 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, mashed or chopped
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, adding eggs one at a time.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 in tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Start in cold oven!
