Salmon Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Alaska salmon
    1 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/2 c. sliced green onions
    2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
    1 tsp. grated, fresh ginger
    3 egg whites
    vegetable oil for frying
    bread crumbs to coat patties
Preparation
    Drain and flake salmon.
    Toss flaked salmon with bread crumbs, onion, cilantro and ginger.
    Mix in egg whites.
    Form mixture into 8 patties; coat with bread crumbs.
    Heat a small amount of oil in a nonstick frying pan.
    Saute patties over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
    Serve with mixed greens with Orange-Ginger Vinaigrette.
