Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. oleo
1 can coconut
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 lb. bag orange candy
1 lb. pitted dates
2 c. nuts
vanilla to taste

Preparation

Mix flour, salt, coconut, sugar, nuts and soda together.
Mix oleo, milk and eggs together.
Cut dates and candy.
Roll in flour.
Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours, until done.
