Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. compressed yeast
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Two eggs, one cup sweet milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt, one tablespoon butter, two cups flour; beat the eggs without separating, add milk, salt, melted butter and flour; beat well.
Cut the bananas, as many as you wish to fry, in eight pieces each.
Dip in this batter and fry in deep fat.
When done, if you like sprinkle with granulated sugar and serve hot.
