Joyce'S Homemade Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) bag milk chocolate chips
    1 (6 oz.) bag semi-sweet chips
    1 c. chopped pecans or other nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Optional:
    Peanut butter chips instead of milk chocolate chips for peanut butter fudge.
