Texas Lizzies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 sticks butter
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 lb. walnuts, chopped
    3/4 lb. pecans, chopped
    3/4 lb. dark raisins
    3/4 lb. white raisins
    1/4 c. each: red and green candied cherries (halved)
    1 c. whiskey
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs and blend well. Add all other ingredients and blend well.
    Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes until light brown.
