Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, cream butter and confectioners sugar.
Beat in milk, vanilla and egg until well mixed.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt until well mixed. Cover with plastic wrap.
Chill several hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
