Mom'S Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 unbaked pie shells
6 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Scald milk; add beaten eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla and pour into unbaked pie shells, pricked with fork.
Sprinkle nutmeg over tops of pies.
Cook at 350\u00b0 until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Check with knife in 30 minutes.
