Rhubarb Meringue Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. melted margarine, cooled
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 egg yolks
1/8 tsp. salt
5 c. finely chopped rhubarb
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
6 egg whites
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine margarine, 2 cups flour, 2 egg yolks and salt in a bowl; mix well.
Pat mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until light brown.
Combine rhubarb, 2 1/2 cups sugar, 4 egg yolks and 1/4 cup flour.
Pour over baked crust.
Bake for 35 minutes.
Beat egg whites in bowl until stiff peaks form.
Add 1 cup sugar, beating until stiff and glossy. Spread over rhubarb.
Bake until brown.

15 servings.
