Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced tart apples (about 4 medium)
    2/3 to 3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. rolled oats (Quaker)
    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/3 c. margarine or butter, softened
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Arrange apples in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan.
    Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
    Serve warm and, if desired, with cream or ice cream.
    Makes 6 servings.
