Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 onions
    24 sweet green peppers
    24 sweet red peppers
    3 hot peppers
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 pt. vinegar
Preparation
    Wash peppers and remove seeds.
    Grind pepper and onions. Cover with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes; drain thoroughly.
    Add sugar, salt and vinegar.
    Put in pot and bring to a boil.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Makes approximately 6 pints.
