Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
    Mix well.
    With a fork, stir in egg, milk and corn until flour mixture is just moistened.
    In a large skillet heat 1/4 inch of oil on medium. Drop corn mixture by tablespoon into skillet about 5 at a time. Cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
    Drain well on paper towel-lined tray.
    Dust fritters with confectioners sugar.
