Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, sliced and peeled
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix potatoes, half of cheese and remaining ingredients.
    Put into dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
