Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. raw peanuts
    2 tsp. margarine
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water until it spins a long thread.
    Pour in raw peanuts and cook until mixture turns a golden color.
    Remove from heat and add margarine, soda and vanilla.
    Stir until margarine is melted.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Spread slightly. Cool thoroughly.
    Break in pieces.
