Nantucket Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw cranberries
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Grease 10-inch pie plate.
    Place cranberries, nuts and 1/2 cup sugar on bottom of pie plate.
    Make batter of 1 cup sugar, butter, flour, eggs and extract; pour over berries.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    If using a glass dish, lower oven temperature.
