Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. mild vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 can beets (sliced)
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Add vinegar and water and boil for 5 minutes.
    Add beets.
    Serve.
