Chicken Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. half and half or evaporated milk
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 lb. uncooked elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
    3 c. cooked chicken
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimentos, drained (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, melt butter.
    With a wire whisk, stir in flour.
    Add milk or half and half; stir until mixture is smooth and starts to thicken.
    Add chicken broth and cheese; reduce heat and stir constantly until cheese melts.
    Add chicken, salt, pepper, macaroni and pimentos.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch or 3-quart casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
