Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising meal
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 can corn (cream-style)
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. Mexican cheese
Preparation

Brown ground beef and drain.
Mix all ingredients, except beef, onion and cheese.
Put half of batter on bottom of baking dish.
Add beef, onion and cheese over batter.
Pour other half of batter on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
