Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. oatmeal
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. apples
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly.
    Press half into greased 9 x 11-inch pan.
    Top with apples.
    Cook remaining ingredients until thick and clear.
    Pour over apples; top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
