Quick Surprise Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. mashed potatoes
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
6 Tbsp. soft shortening
2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Mix milk and yeast to dissolve.
Add mashed potatoes, sugar and salt.
Add soft shortening and add just until easy to handle the 2 to 2 1/2 cups flour.
Knead well.
Shape into any desired shapes.
Let rise until double in bulk (45 to 60 minutes).
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
