Duck - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    duck
    onion
    water
    salt
    pepper
    1/2 stick butter
    vinegar or wine
Preparation
    Put medium onion inside duck.
    Cook in roaster with a little water for 1 hour.
    Throw away onion and water and start all over again.
    Rub salt and pepper inside and outside.
    Rub butter inside and out; put in roaster again.
    Cook 1 1/2 hours (about), basting often to keep from drying out.
    Put wine or vinegar in water.
