Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh spinach
    2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
    salt and pepper
    1 red onion, sliced into rings
    4 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Preparation
    Wash spinach; strip leaves from stems, discarding any tough or discolored leaves.
    (Wash spinach first in warm water for 2 minutes; lift out leaves and rinse twice in cold water.)
    Place drained spinach leaves in glass salad bowl; add onion, eggs, bacon and salt and pepper to taste.
    Toss with dressing just before serving.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
