Orange French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh orange juice
    2 c. half and half
    6 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. Grand Marnier liqueur
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. orange extract
    2 (1 lb.) loaves day old French bread
    1/2 c. unsalted butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Mix together first seven ingredients. Pour into large shallow dish.
    Cut bread diagonally into 1-inch slices.
    Soak bread 1 minute on each side.
    Brown the slices in butter over medium-low heat in a large skillet.
    When all are browned, place on cookie sheet (in single layer) and bake 20 minutes.
    Remove from oven; sift powdered sugar over toast.
    Serve with heated maple syrup.
    Crisp, not soggy, perfect for a large group since it's all ready at the same time.
