Luscious Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pie shell
1/2 c. corn water
1/4 tsp. salt
7 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/3 c. lemon juice
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Make and bake a pie shell.
Mix cold water, salt and cornstarch.
Combine hot water and sugar in top of double boiler and bring to a boil over direct heat.
Add cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened.
Place over boiling water and cook until thick and smooth (15 minutes), stirring constantly.
