Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Stove Top stuffing
1 c. hot water
16 large mushrooms (about 1 lb.)
5 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1/2 small green pepper, finely chopped
1/2 small red pepper, finely chopped
Preparation

Stir stuffing mix and water in a medium bowl.
Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems.
Cook and stir mushroom caps in 3 tablespoons hot margarine in large skillet until lightly brown. Arrange in shallow baking dish.
Cook and stir stems and peppers in skillet until tender.
Stir into prepared stuffing.
Spoon into mushroom caps; drizzle tops with remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Broil 5 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
