1 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 450\u00b0.
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl, then add the sausage, cheese and butter. Blend well with a wooden spoon or with your hands.
Roll the mixture into 1 inch balls; it should yield about 36 pieces.
Place the balls about 1/2 inch apart on a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch baking sheet and flatten them slightly with the heel of your hand.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown at the bottom.
