Squash Delight Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. squash
1/2 stick oleo
1 tsp. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. grated cheese (Cheddar or American)
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation

Cook squash until tender.
Drain; add oleo and mash.
Mix sugar, egg, mayonnaise, nuts, pepper, onion, salt and cheese and add to squash.
Pour mixture into buttered casserole dish.
Top with bread crumbs and more cheese.
Dot with butter.
Bake until it is bubbling and brown (375\u00b0 for about 30 minutes).
Serves 8.
