Corn And Shrimp Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 ears fresh corn (shucked and cleaned)
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 lb. peeled shrimp
    1/2 c. green onions
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. flour
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1/2 tsp. basil
    salt, white pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat butter and add flour; make medium brown roux.
    Add onion and saute.
    Add remaining ingredients except green onions and parsley; let simmer 1 hour.
    Add water for desired consistency. Add green onions and parsley.
    Simmer 15 minutes and serve.
