Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar, syrup, butter and salt over low heat.
    Beat egg until foamy.
    Add all ingredients.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 or 40 minutes.
