Low Calorie French Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes (unpeeled)
    2 egg whites, slightly beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
    grated Parmesan cheese
    oregano (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Cut each potato lengthwise into 8 wedges.
    Brush cut sides with beaten egg whites, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and oregano.
    Place wedges, skin side down, on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown, puffed and tender when pierced with a fork.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 6.
