Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 c. cake flour
    2 oz. red food color
    1 stick butter
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream together 1/2 cup Crisco and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Sift 2 cups cake flour 3 times and add to creamed mixture.
    Add salt and cocoa.
    Mix well.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, buttermilk and food coloring.
    Beat well.
