Golden Glow Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. crushed pineapple in its own juice, drained with juice reserved
1 pkg. lemon jello
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vinegar
1 c. grated raw carrots
1/3 c. chopped pecans
mayonnaise (optional)
Preparation

Add water to reserved pineapple juice to make 1 cup.
Dissolve jello in boiling water.
Add juice and vinegar; chill until slightly thickened.
Stir in pineapple, carrots and nuts and chill until firm.
Serves 4 to 6.
If desired, serve with mayonnaise.
