Ingredients

5 or 6 medium-size potatoes
1 egg
5 to 6 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Grate potatoes on hand grater.
Add egg, flour and water.
Mix thoroughly.
Plop spoonful of mixture into melted Crisco (on medium high).
Shape flat like a pancake.
Fry until golden brown.
