Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 slightly beaten eggs
    2 slices buttered bread
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cut buttered bread in 2-inch strips and put in buttered pan. Blend sugar, vanilla, salt and beaten eggs.
    Add scalded milk and pour over bread.
    Sprinkle with raisins.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes.
    Pudding is done if knife comes out clean.
