Picadillo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 c. chopped white onion
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 c. water
    bay leaf
    dash of sherry
    small jar sliced green olives
Preparation
    Brown ground beef.
    Add garlic, onion, cumin, oregano and bell pepper.
    Drain fat.
    Add tomato sauce and two cans.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Add bay leaf and dash of sherry.
    Simmer an additional half hour.
    Add olives last 15 minutes.
    Serve with warmed corn tortilla chips, homemade black beans and white rice.
