Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening (butter flavored Crisco)
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Stir flour, sugar and shortening together.
    Add milk and vanilla; beat vigorously for 3 minutes, scraping bowl frequently. Add unbeaten eggs; continue beating 2 minutes.
    Bake in 2 (8 or 9-inch) greased and floured baking pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool and frost.
