Fresh Vegetable Marinade - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 stalks broccoli
8 large fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 green pepper, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 head cauliflower, cut into flowerets
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 small onion
2 Tbsp. poppy seed
Preparation

Remove flowerets from broccoli and cut into bite size pieces (reserve stalks for another use).
Combine all vegetables.
Toss lightly to mix.
Combine remaining ingredients; mix well and pour over vegetables.
Chill at least 3 hours or overnight.
Yields 16 servings.
