Italian Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 clove garlic, cut up fine
    2 Tbsp. dry parsley (in jar)
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. olive or salad oil
    2 cans tomato paste (6 oz.) or 1 (12 oz.) can
    3 cans hot water (add extra 1/2 can if too thick)
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together first 6 ingredients.
    With wet hands, form into about 16 balls (mixture will be quite soft).
    Brown slowly in hot oil, shaking pan frequently to keep balls round.
    Blend tomato paste with remaining ingredients.
    Pour over meat balls.
    Cover and simmer one hour.
    Serves 4.
