Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 can cherry or apple pie filling
Preparation
    Gradually add sugar to butter in large bowl, creaming at medium speed until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flour gradually.
    Pour into well-greased and floured 15 x 10-inch pan.
    Mark off 20 squares.
    Spoon filling onto each square.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Sprinkle powdered sugar or serve with Cool Whip.
