Meringue Surprises - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine egg whites, vanilla and salt.
Beat until stiff, but not dry.
Beat in sugar gradually until stiff and satiny.
Divide mixture into equal portions.
Add red and green food coloring. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen.
