Onion Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp cheese (Cheddar), divided
1 (10 or 12 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
2 drops red pepper sauce
Preparation

Melt butter, add onion and saute until tender, about 10 minutes.
Cool slightly.
Add sour cream, salt and 1/2 cup cheese to onion; set aside.
