German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. sliced bacon
    1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground mustard
    2 1/2 lb. unpeeled red potatoes, cooked, cooled and sliced
    1 carrot, shredded
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    2 hard-boiled eggs, thinly sliced
Preparation
    In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 1/4 cup drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. Saute onions and celery in bacon drippings until tender. Combine sugar and flour; add to skillet with vinegar, water, salt and mustard. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles.
