Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Beat egg and milk together; add to dry ingredients.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour 1/2 cup servings into funnel.
    Let drip in swirls to form 4-inch diameter circle in hot oil.
    Turn after 1 minute.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Makes 6 to 8 cakes.
